Connect your read and pace with a nearby reference for initial aim.
Picture the curve and choose your pace. Dave Stockton teaches picking a spot one inch ahead of the ball. Find an existing small grass feature on your chosen starting line, aim the putter face along that line, then make your normal stroke. Roll over the spot with enough pace to reach the hole.
You can still visualize the apex of the curve. The nearby reference helps you aim the start; the full read and speed still matter. Try it and see whether your aim feels clearer.
